“Individual commitment to a group effort — that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.” – Vince Lombardi
Parental involvement is a key element to the success of Rose Valley’s Swim and Dive teams. Each family is encouraged to volunteer. We are a small team, and appreciate the efforts of all our families. If everyone gives some time, each volunteer may only have to work a portion of each meet. We are happy to provide training for all positions and will pair you up with an experienced volunteer. Prior to every meet, a SignUp Genius will be sent out with specific volunteer roles to be filled for that meet.
We’ll use the same suit as last season. Suit fittings will be available at Info Night on May 5, 5:30-7pm at the Rose Valley Pool. If you can’t make it and need a suit fitting, please email the team admins at rosevalleyswarm1@gmail.com
Ordering info: Place your order before June 1 and your suit(s) will be delivered to practice. Just follow these steps:
NOTE: If you order after June 1 you will need to either pay for shipping, or pick up yourself at Toad Hollow.
Our team uses Team Snap for communication regarding practice updates (e.g., cancellation of practice due to weather) and for swimmers to indicate their intent to swim in a particular meet. It is available as an app for your smartphone. There is also a website that can be accessed. If you need access, please email the Swim Team Administrator and you will receive an invitation to join.
Our Swarm Family Handbook provides all of the information you will need – coaches’ expectations, practice information, meet information, etc.
We have a private Facebook group which we highly encourage parents request to join, where we share team photos, news, and other info. Join in on the fun at Rose Valley Swarm.
